I am also a member of an intentional Christian community in Grand Rapids, Michigan and am so incredibly encouraged by the testimony of God’s movement in this generation to raise of radical followers of Jesus Christ. I’m logged in as Tim Flanders, which is one of my housemates, but my name is Holly Pschigoda. We recently recorded a Lenten Devotional CD and started a wordpress blog for people to download and comment on it, which is why I’m logged in as Tim. Feel free to check it out!!
Anyway, I digress… I just wanted to say hello, to encourage your community as I see God moving so powerfully in how I just randomly came across your blog, seeing how we here in GR are very much in line with the vision and mission of the Christ’s Church I see you guys carrying out. We are a group of 9 people – 7 college students, 2 post-college; 5 girls, 4 guys – living on the westside of GR having our eyes opened to how God is at work in our neighborhood taking baby steps to partner with God in that. There are two other prayer/community houses within a couple miles of us as well and we have monthly Westside prayer meetings! It’s been so beautiful!!
I look forward to learning from your community and how you establish a rhythm there, as we are still learning as we go (we just started this past August 2008)

Grace and Peace.
Your sister,
Holly
p.s. I really like the idea of having a communal blog instead of just individuals’.
